do I paint my 1980 Olds 442

Good day I am brand new to this car game I have just purchased an all original 1980 442 with only 34000 kms on it I an in Canada thinking about a new paint job is this a good idea or should I keep original no rust on the car at all just some fade on the roof and some pin stripping issue thanks and have a good day Jeff from Winnipeg

My vote would be to leave it be especially if it's rust free! If it does need new paint i would copy the color combo it currently has. You don't see many '80 442's anymore with that paint scheme that have been unmolested.
However, at the end of the day it's your car, budget, and ideas of what you want it to represent while driving and showing it off!
