I have all the pieces needed to swap a TBI system into my Bonneville but I will need a chip tune to make it work without EGR enabled. Does anybody still actively work on the TBI stuff?

I agree its not cheap but there isn't a whole lot of people who do anything with tbi any more.

I seriously considering this before my 94 Z71 burnt to the ground. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...FjABegQIBRAB&usg=AOvVaw2UMM9noRVeVHU22Nn_dqpc The Olds 350 ran fine in closed loop. It just ran rough in open loop, it definitely needed some tweaking, the factory tune doesn't like any cam larger than 210 duration and 112 LSA. I only had a 204/214 .448/.472 114 LSA and I still had to crack the throttle plates for more air.

Good info!
Luckily TBI computers did not have VATS installed.

Actually a lot of them did. 89-92 F body did along with B body's though I forget what years they did.

I did not know that. I thought that the TPI systems were the first to get VATS.

My computer and harness came out of a '90 G20 van, which did not have it installed.
