I have been on the search for a t top regal for literally over a decade on and off. I have followed many leads and even have one in my driveway that has basically no floor pan left in it. They are stinking hard to find and when you do find them, they almost always have rust issues. So because of this I have been considering either doing the floor pans in this shell that I have currently or cutting out the Ts and putting them in a hard top car. Looking around online, gbodyparts.com mentioned that they are working on having a complete t top conversion package available in the future, anyone know if this is anything close to a reality yet? It sure would be awesome if it happens for guys like me!

Please keep the comments about how t tops are stupid, weaken the body, leak, squeak or whatever to your self. They are not for everyone.

Those conversion teasers have been out there for a loooong time now. If I were going to bet on it, I would say it’s not happening. I ended up finding a donor roof and just replacing the header panel. Luckily I found one with minimal rot for cheap. Good luck!

I have a mostly solid roof right now that I can use on the current build. In the future though, it sure would be nice. I was really surprised to see that they have the A pillars out now. They are really only a few pieces away from a compete conversion from what I can tell. I guess I will keep watching their site and keep my fingers crossed! thanks for the response

Even if Brain does make it, you will buy it and he will never ship it to you.

That may be true lol. I have had issues with them in the past sending me the wrong stuff and there was something else before that but it's been so long ago that I forget. BUT, he is still doing allot for the g body world so I respect that

I would deffenitly replace the entire roof. It's alot of glass to R&R but there won't be much plastic filler needed.

Have you posted over on turbobuick.com to see if anyone has a body or even a roof section?
My one pet peeve with t top and sunroof cars is that they always seem to leak at some point and the first things that rusts is the floor.

I repaired one sunroof car that the roof rotted away from the inside because of a clogged drainage system.
