Does anyone know the difference between a DR31 and a DR32 COIL IN CAP for my 1979 OLds 350?

My Olds is a Hurst Olds with the code R engine in the VIN and the coil replacement shows both DR31 and DR32 as replacements.

Can anyone tell me the difference which I believe may be in output.............but I can't seem to find the info anywhere.........thank you. AZ

It will have to do with it either a white or yellow wire. Olds coils should have a white wire out of the three wires a HEI coil uses.

Yessir that is what I believe and everytime I order a white wire coil I get a yellow one. From Summit I ordered a WHITE wire, as seen in photos, and in descritpion and it shows up yellow wire.

Okay at least that coil was labeled dr32.............

So I found a dr 31 and ordered it...........now of course IT SHOWS a yellow wire too.................but at least the part number is different
so take a chance and roll the dice.

I'll report back what I find.................

Thanks again for the reply.

Those 🇨🇳 factories just either higher too many color blind kids or just poor lighting inside that those kids can't tell yellow from white.
