I am trying to find some new metal retainer clips that go on the small studs that hold the round dome lights to the roof.
I tried Autozone and Lowes, I think I bought a variety pack years ago that was in the "HELP" section but didn't see any this time.

They came in an interior hardware kit I bought for my car so I'd think they are available from the usual suspects. Stand by. Searching....

Napa has them, the studs unscrew from the roof so you can get the right size.

When I was at Lowes I bought a pair of little plastic pieces that look like the inserts you use for mounting a license plate that the screws go into but smaller and they actually clipped on the posts and held it for now pushing them on with the flat side first.

They're typically called push nuts or star locks. They're everywhere. Don't know why you can't find them.
