dont know what this is

I am trying to figure out what this is. It is some kind of control module for something. It is about 3in. by 4in. big, about an inch tall. The top can be opened to get to the circuit board. There is a label on it with a number-25074716 and 37bn. It was located under dash some where, cant remember exactly where.

It is an 86 Cutlass Supreme, 2 door, it did have cruise control.

Also another question, is there going to be a control module for the wipers also? They are the variable speed type.
