Door Jamb Gap?

The fender to door gaps are 1/4" according to my manual but I can not find the door jamb gap spec. Am I correct to assume this gap to be 1/4" as well?

There all pritty wide on a g-body my 78 Cutlass with 20k has never been painted and I don't think any 2 gaps are the same when I do them I just split the difference and make them nice

I wanted to use the passenger door gap as a reference point but it's crooked even though the hinges are solid. On Youtube I found an A Body Chevelle panel alignment video and I'll try using that as a guide.

To clarify - I'm referring to the gap at the rear of the door = 3/16" as measured.
