I have a project in mind for swapping the frontend and doors off my '86 El Camino and installing the same from a '84 Cutlass Supreme. I even cut a foot of body panel after the door so as to get it to blend in properly, but the donor vehicle had no interior at all. The questions I have are:
1) I've been told that all 2-door G-bodies will interchange, will I be able to swap the interior door panels from my El Camino to the Cutlass doors?
2) if the answer to #1 is yes, then can any G-body front door panel swap, 2dr or 4dr?
3) if that answer to #2 is yes, then is there a bunch of images somewhere that show the individual door panels from the various models through the 78-88 years so I can pick a better looking design?
I searched back a couple of years for this question and this thread was the closest answer I found.
I currently have a blue interior like this one but all stock. The previous owner drove it and barely maintained it.

Cutlass A to G upper door panel swap
Can I swap the later model Cutlass upper door panels into my 78? I like this look better, but I would get rid of the wood, and do something different ( vinyl wrap color match, carbon ). Do my early doors have the mounting provisions for this, or would I need to modify??
