Door regulator?

Not sure if this is the correct threat I apologize if not but. I’ve been having some issues with my window, fixed a lot of issues on my door and found out that the regulator gear was rubbing on screws from my window motor. And that it was almost sort of twisting on the gear when I went fully down/up. It would jolt, the whole window regulator would jolt/twist. I saw my regulator didn’t look very solid. We took it out of the car and looked at it and I there is TONS of play in my regulator like a lot. Probably 3/16 to 1/4 of play where the the regulator moves. Now that can’t be normal. They don’t make complete rebuild kits for these do they? I’ve looked everywhere for regulators for my car and can’t find them. Only ones I can find are about 450$ and I can’t afford that. That’s ridiculously priced for regulators. And I’d rather not buy used ones and I get them and they are worn out. Anyone else discover worn out regulators? What did you do?

My driver's side one is wore out, it's sloppier than it should be and the window jolts a hair when it goes down. I'm tolerating it for now but if I had to fix the part where it hinges I'll get to that at some point. Could be the way the rails are aligned also, a few factors here.

Yeah mines definitely worn. It’s got a huge amount of play. Sucks that doorman doesn’t make the regulators anymore. Nobody does sadly besides the 450$ ones

I've seen them posted on Ebay from time to time, if I see a Gbody in the junkyard I'm pulling the drivers side out if it's in decent shape and I'll swap that in to see what it does.
