Good morning,

Bought myself 2 new door switches for my 88 monte and I was under the impression I was in for a quick 5 minute job. Didn't quite go that route lol. Long story short one of the leads fell back into the hole and I'm not sure how to gain access to it again. Do I take out the inside kick panel or am I destined to fish it out with a coat hanger or something?! Thanks for the help!

You’ll have to remove the sill plate, then the kick panel will slide off. There is an opening below the hood release, kind of behind the parking brake, that you should be able to reach the wire with your hand and feed it back out.
