I've hit a deer on my way home from work in my S-10 thru the mountain pass I didn't stop just troopered home I new it was wasted

Been there, but got lucky, saw it running along the road so I managed to get slowed down some before it ran in front of me...only lost the grille and bumper on the F350

I dont want to jinx myself.
Ive got deer all over the place. Every day. Every night. Theyve wrecked my shrubs. I had to dig up all the flowers around the house and replace them with more deer resistant plants. Nice to see but pains in the butt.

I used to blast to work on a '79 Yamaha XS1100. I'd get in a groove and find myself at 85 on this particular mountain road. Many times I had been on that same road in a car and spotted the herd of elk hangin' out across both lanes. I wized up and sold the bike before I hit a wall of meat. In either mode of rolling.

My F350 came with Ranch Hand bull bars. I always wondered whether they could take an elk strike at 40. Pull around the carcass, winch it onto the truck and boogie home fast enough to not leave a trail....

there used to be one of a can-am car hitting one at about 140mph... can't find it now, but as soon as it hit it, nothing but red mist....
