I was cruising around with old slicks for a while.

bought new slicks and new radials for a track rental.

Dead hook with both with alot of air pressure. Going to run a wider rim and the radial. bye bye slicks...

dont have any pics. not really interesting enough

I think I'm going to try radials this year. The ET streets didn't last, and I want to do some street driving. Opinions on M/T radials?

Im running hoosier drag radials.

no drag radial will really last on the street. they are going to wear and wear pretty fast.

As far as drag radials I tried the BF Goodrich drag radials first but they only lasted a couple weeks because the tread basically melted and rolled over on top of the tire.
I then bought some M/T 295/65R15 drag radials which I really liked but since they were 29.50 tall it gave the car too much of a rake look so I seached for something shorter in the same width.
I then ordered some Hoosier drag radials that were listed as 28" tall but when they got here they measured barely 27" unmounted and I contacted them and they said once mounted they would be 28" so I had only one mounted because I couldn't believe that would do it.
I got the mounted one home and it is at best 27.5" filled with air (25 lbs) and of coarse on the car the were under 27" and just looked ridiculous with a front runner that looked almost taller.
So I sent the Hoosiers back and bought another set of M/T Drag radials this time 295/55R15 which are still on my car.
What I like about the M/T drag radials is they seem to have really good wear for a street driven car and hook pretty good and I think they also have an aggressive look to them that looks great on something fast.

BF Goodrich drag radials. 255/50/16. I've had them for a long time(too long). I threw them on that day just to go out and play and see how well I could get them to work on the street. Better but still had a hard time hooking. On a track I might have been okay, or at least better.
