Hello forum,
I have a 78 monte and the driver door is sagging. I think its sagging from the rolling pin on the door, but no auto parts store carries that type of pin. Does it even change out or do i just change the other 2 pins located farther back?

They sell bushing repair kits to fix your existing hinge and they also sell new replacements hinges.

They look something like that just verify application before buying, it is a pin and bushing kit, you drill out your enlarged worn out hole and install the bushings and then the new pin.

What i am asking is, does that roller style pin ever get replaced? Cannot find a pin similar to that in my auto parts store, and that style was too big this application

That is the door stop. It isn't causing the door to sag. It may cause the door to groan or squeak, but not sag.

Don't be surpised if that doesn't fix the problem. As old as that car is and as long as it's been sagging it probably won't. I replaced my hinges with ones from a lighter 4 door. One adjustment with the striker and all was fine.

That is true, It will help a lot, but the door can still have some sag and the hinge is still old.

Goodmark makes new hinges for $35:
