I purchased an 700r4 (coming from a 350) so I had to shorten the driveshaft 3". Now I'm thinking about getting a Quick Performance 9". Is there any way that I can make the rear end fit without messing with the driveshaft that I just had shortened?

I realize that I did this *ss backwards, but I didn't think the posi bug would be biting me so hard.

Thanks.

Not that I have done it myself, but there's plenty of different length yokes available for the 9" - maybe one will be long enough?

FYI I run a th 400 w/ 9 inch and my drive shaft is about 52.5 inches. The 7004R is 1/2 inch shorter than the 400 so do the math. There are different nine inch yokes as mentioned so keep that in mind. I do have a 53 inch heavy duty shaft and a couple of different 9 inch yokes
