Going to get the bell-tech 2100 spindles for my 81 Malibu. Anyone have pictures of theirs or how they work out just fine? thanks for any help

The Problem with drop spindles is that they keep the lame stock camber curve (Neg camber on extension, Positive camber on compression) and because people tend to use the stock, soft springs with drop spindles, the positive camber on compression can promote the tire hitting the inside of the fender with wider wheels.

Rather than Drop spindles, A tall lower ball joint + stiffer, shorter springs provides better suspension geometry, better handling and less tire/fender interference at an equivalent ride height, for about the same money.

That doesn't mean Drop spindles are bad. Adding a tall ball joints to drop spindles gives the good suspension geometry/camber curve and allows a taller spring for an equivalent ride height, so it will ride better if the drop was done with just springs at the same body height.

Just spindles will work fine for now ? Maybe down the road I'll do more work to it

Focus on the geometry before you lower it with spindles. You can get away with just a decent spring and ball joint set up for the same look but much improved driving characteristics.

So a tall lower ball joint and stiffer, shorter springs would be better ? Any idea some part numbers for them

5658 Should do the trick, decent drop and better than stock spring rates. We have the BJ kits, That all should yield about a 2" drop from factory height when the car was new.
