I really like this one. The early Monte's are the only gbodies with the body lines to make a drop top look good

Oh boy, I actually thought of cutting the top off a $200 1981 Regal back around the late 90's. I made a bracket car out of it instead.

I think because of the rooflines, a Malibu or Lemans are the only ones that could come close to pulling it off. But still, just don't.

Have to be LeMans, the Malibu qtr window is way below the decklid and would make an odd (hideous?) transition, Pontiac qtr window kicks up close to decklid height

Thats an odd combination in the last pic, American Confederate flags painted on the trunk lid with an Arab (Iraqi?) plate.

the whole car is odd! Running gag over here since it pops up frequently in for sale groups ..

I have only seen a handful of G-bodies made into convertibles, with quarter windows, that actually look like they could have been factory built.
