Drum Brakes Not Bleeding

Working on doing this right now. The button comes out whenever I press the brakes. Do i need to have someone hold the pedal down while I open the bleeder screw on one of the drums and then press the button? Does anyone have a video for this whole process?

we had a problem like that with a circle track car, I held the button in while 2 other guys bled the brakes and the pin stayed in place after that.
