I have a lead on a dual gate 2 shifter. It has the plastic housing and chrome top but is missing the reverse light switch and the brackets for the transmission . Looks to be good condition otherwise. Is 350.00 too much with the missing parts, and are they available. I have a monte carlo console in my cutlass it would be in, instead of the universal housing

Dual Gate II is the 4speed/OD version, yes? Technically for the F bodies I think. Always wanted to do one of those in a 79 H/O

The dual gate ii was the universal aftermarket one that you could buy and put in a vehicle that came with its own console and chrome top plate. Im sure it was available in both 3 and 4 speed versions.

I passed on buying the one i found (3spd). Because by the time i added a reverse light switch, cable, transmission brackets it was over what i wanted to have in a used shifter

For future reference I believe the bracket that goes on the transmission can be had from Summit. I dont know the part number off the top of my head but in my research on getting one of these shifted for a 4 speed, I know it was easy enough to find that bracket. The F Body guys know much more though, maybe check with them on the 4 speed version if you do come back around to this swap.
