I put a factory replacement radiator in my 2+2 when i did my LS swap but I am looking to swap to a dual pass radiator with the inlet and outlet on the passenger side to get rid of the giant snake of upper radiator hose and clean stuff up a bit.

I would prefer a direct fit 18.5x30.5-ish radiator like is factory in a G body so i can re use my interpid fan and upper support plate, but I am not finding much? I have only seen like one or two $600+ ones from places like brp rods, be cool, and others. I am fine spending $250, but $600 isn't worth it to clean stuff up visually.

I see some in the 19"x31" sizes, but from what I know G bodies/most GM stuff used that 18.5x30.5ish size core and most aftermarket places round up size. Does a proper 19x31" radiator fit in a stock G body core support?

That jegs one is as close as anything I have seen to fitting, but doesnt appear to have the upper and lower isolator mount locations?

This allstar one also looks like it will work with the factory g body rubber isolators, but i would prefer to avoid the plastic crimped tanks.

What else have people been using?

Unless they changed it, the Griffin LS swap rad listed for the G-body is wrong and too wide for the core support due to its overall dimensions. I had to exchange it for one a few inches narrower to fit in the wagon. I can measure it for you if needed.

Yeah, that might help. Half the people in my searches say a 31" wide is too wide, the other half say its fine.

Here is another through speedway, but it doesnt have the isolator pads

Is this the one you bought? they claim 31.25" wide

This one seems OK but doesnt have the isolator pads again AND doesnt have hose barb ends, it has ORB threaded

I couldn't properly fit a 31.5" wide rad in my 88 Cutlass. Only about a 31.25" wide rad would fit. A 31" by 19" should fit fine.

Awesome, thanks,

Ill hunt down a 31" wide rad. What did you use as an upper radiator bracket since that one doesn't have the supports for the upper isolators?
