i know it, it bugs the sh*t out of me, who paints a beautiful car to look like a taxi cab… I’m going to repaint the car and change the interior eventually, but for now it’s black and yellow…

I don't mind the yellow with the black, but I guess since its my citys colors that may be why I am partial. If that had a black interior I think it would all mesh well. I am partial to the blue since that is my interior but I feel like it needs some sort of blue exterior to work well.

Definitely doing some good work work there though for sure, to better showcase it when you post the pics you can click that select all and choose to put them in the post as thumbnails or how I do is to just post the whole image

Spent a couple hours wiping down the headlight chrome with never dull. It’s amazing what elbow grease will do. And while I had the bumper off I also scuffed it up and hit it with rust prevention. Then I sprayed it gold for the honeys…

Finally got the new catalytic converter in so I can pass California smog. I ended up getting one from walkers after magnaflow cancelled my order during COVID… and I Found out my old one wasn’t even bolted on…

So every time I washed the car I was getting water leaking into my passenger foot area and I couldn’t figure out for the longest time why. I took off the HVAC blower to replace it and found the blower box was full of dirt to the point it clogged the drain hole so it was just filling up and then leaking into my glove box thru the flap…

Took Off The Wheel Well Chrome And Saw How Lazy The Previous Painter Was. Still Can’t Believe They Covered This Silver Two Tone With Black And Yellow

Started cleaning up the fender wells, I’m gonna be going corner by corner on this car. Trying to spray my whole undercarriage and wheel wells before I drop in the new suspension. I also started getting rid of the yellow, I’m spraying the whole car gloss black, and then I’ll paint it again in the future, I’m going to be doing a weathered patina on this truck and I’ll be using the black as a undercoat so it doesn’t need to be perfect, my biggest concern is a straight body…
I also was having issues with my AC and vacuum lines, so I swapped out the HVAC switch and it resolved my problems.
