I pulled an unmolested harness from a DBW donor in the yard and realized that it’s a 03-07, instead of 99-02 like my engine, TB, PCM, pedal and Tac module. I also have the original harness from the engine for comparison but it’s a mess and not usable so I’m trying to find out my options.

So the harness has the one large 8pin plug versus the two and 6 pin plugs like the earlier TBs have. Can I just repin it and take the plugs from the older harness, swap TBs or is this more complex than either option?

I don't believe the 03-07 pcm with the aluminum tac can control a 99-02 dbw tb. I have a silver 05-07 ls2 TB on my 99-02 dbw setup and a y harness that tees the tac motor and TPS wiring into the same plug, it works. You can probably manually repin the harness and give it a shot. That's what I did when I tried getting a 07 gt500 TB to work on a 99-02 dbw setup. It worked with the engine off but not running.

Find the 99-02 Harness since you have everything for it.

And what is going on with that intake ducting, why does it reduce that much?
That’s what I’m figuring I’ll have to do.

it reduces like that because of the 2.5” IC piping.
