Easy way to tell if you have intermittant wipers?

Hey guys:

The title is the question. I have an '83 Cutlass Cruiser that may or may not have pulse wipers. As it stands now they run on low and high and that's it. The stalk is busted and looks like it's not the original, and yes it's a pulse wiper stalk. Any way to tell by looking at the motor and or it's wiring? Thanks.
