Im no mechanic (obviously) but I took a closer look at the steering and traced it down to the steering box.

I have the new steering shaft i got off a jeep, however; theres more play in the steering box than the actual shaft. This a the last thing that could be the problem. I'll post a video later to see what you guys think.

Again I appreciate the input on the forum. I can probably take apart the whole front end now with my eyes closed since I've done it a million times already....

There's an adjustment on the top of the box, BUT be careful with it; it doesn't take much! Or, you can get a reman box....

IT WAS THE STEERING BOX :blam:

In total i probably turned the allan key a little more than a quarter turn. The slop started to fade away each adjustment. Probably going to have to replace the steering box.

I hope this thread helps someone out there.
