I'm running a Lincoln Mark 8 electric fan on my Griffin radiator with a small block Chevy 400 I have a running his fan for like almost 2 years but now I think I'm hearing a little whistling sound like a teapot Kettle I changed out the alternator but that is not it so could this be the fan and what does it mean if it's a little whistling or is this normal?

if you only hear it with the fan it would be the bearing in the motor of the fan

bearings dry up, you might want to search to see if this is a common problem with those fans and if there is a fix for them.
