i know they mount right to the latch mechinism . i figured a blazer my use the same but am curious if a 2dr/sedan release works also . Back in those times gm had really good interchangeabilty.

know they mount right to the latch mechinism
wagon tailgate electric rear glass release actually is mounted remotely with a cable. not directly like the trunk lid solenoid.
s10 blazer may work but i have no info on that system.

The release solenoid is mounted away from the latch and is connected by a cable. I have never seen a similar setup in anything else, but never looked into blazers.

yeah looks like i will be getting a universal kit. there was a setup from a monte ss listed in the for sale section and this is why i was asking.
