Electric trunk locked, no key, car disassembled

What do you mean ground the trunk?
Here are the two wires.

Is 1 hot and the other ground?

one is trunk light, other is trunk latch solenoid.

Also, as stated, one is trunk solenoid and one is trunk lamp. Or should be, if they're factory wires and the car has those options. There's only one wire from fuse box to glovebox switch, then one wire on other side of switch to trunk solenoid. I BELIEVE it's the orange one, but can't recall specifically. Open glovebox, check wire colors to back of switch. Switch is a normally open switch, applies 12v to solenoid (grounded to trunk already).

In either case, each of the lamp or switch is grounded, so applying 12V should be fun no matter which wire you apply voltage to. :)
