OK, this is a really oddball request.

I want some of these crimp-on contact bulb ferrules. No idea what to search for on the internet. The little silver bit on the end of the wire.

I am replacing the clearance lights on my 2002 F350. 20 years later the gaskets gave up and are the likely source of an intermittent leak.

I don’t want to drop the headliner to use butt splices and the provided pigtails in the lighting kit. Just want to recycle the 16 gauge wire that Pfurd installed 20 years ago. I also don’t want to sit on the hood soldering stupid things together.

Anyone have a clue to share? 606891B1-C104-410D-AA92-2388BAB93F9B.jpeg

That’s what’s on the Pfurd wire now. Thanks for the link! Now I only have to figure out the crimping. A bag of 50 should give me enough tries to get it right.

To make this relevant to the Forum, I think this is similar to the terminal on a trunk, under hood, and under dash light socket.

I found them on EBay. Remarkably NOT common. I feel better that I did not find them before, given how fast you had the answer.

If anyone has advice on a crimper tool that rolls the two wings over and squeezes them into the wire, that's a tool I need in my tool box. I have the standard Radio Shack crimpers for your garden-variety butt connectors, plus a spark plug wire tool, but this is a much smaller terminal.

A crimper for packard weather pack connectors makes that type of crimp. The really good ones are now made by Aptiv (formally delphi) there are many that are less expensive. Alot of times referred to as a open barrel crimper
