So my wipers refuse to work, i know its no the motor as the fuse blows without it plugged in, my question is if its the switch or something else under the dash i have no idea any help would be nice.

You need to sectionalize the circuit to troubleshoot. Start by unplugging the wiper motor. Does the fuse still blow? Yes- unplug the switch. Fuse blow? Yes- then it's in the wiring (which I doubt). Does the fuse blow as soon as you put it in? When you turn the key on? What year car (assume 83)?

There's not a lot of wiring between the fusebox, switch, and motor, so I wouldn't concentrate on that.

Yes it’s an 83 and I didn’t know if their was a separate board under the dash line in modern cars of if the wiper switch in the stalk goes right to the motor and hey are delays
