Use 301 mounts for A/G body. No headers exist, try cast iron Ram Air/HO manifolds, they're better anyways. Mount to frame holes may or may not be there, be prepared to make your own. Get all the 400 stuff since nothing from the 305 will fit.

The only header in existence that I know will fit a g-body without mods are made by http://maddogheaders.net.
I saved myself the headahche of headers and just went with oversized RA manifolds from
http://www.ramairrestoration.com/rm-1-o ... sized.html

I swapped from a 305 to a 455 myself. Battery and fuel lines are on opposite sides, starter wires need to be re-routed from the loom or modified. The column linkage on the firewall side needs to be modified too if you plan to keep it and use it.

The bolt holes are in the frame for the mounts too.

Like Bonnewagon said, keep everything from the 400. I mixed up my brackets and pulleys from a few different Pontiacs and it wasn't a good time sorting them out.
