Will the cross member and driveshaft line up to a 200r4 trans and a 350 Buick motor. I'm using the 231 3.8l v6 motor and frame mounts. I have the motor mounts installed tomorrow is frame mount day any tricks or ideas on how to get them tightened in an easier way than going up by the springs.

The driveshaft should be the same length. You might be able to get the crossmember to work but some holes might need to be redrilled. The cross member goes in the rear set of holes on the 2004R.

Not sure if the v6 mounts will be correct for a buick v8.
I would get a 2004r crossmember bolt it in and the set motor (with motor and frame mounts attached) and trans in place with trans mount set in crossmember slot. Level motor check carb with air cleaner for hood clearance.
Check frame mounts bolt hole alignment, you have about an inch forward to rear movement on crossmember, then mark locations on frame.
If holes dont line up and you have hood clearance you can drill new holes.
I use a universal joint swivel wrapped with a couple rounds of electrical tape to stiffen it up a bit, then taped the bolt head to the socket just enough to hold it on but yet will pull off bolt with a small tug.
Tape socket to u-joint and u-joint to extension, last thing you need is a loose socket or u-joint lost in the frame lol.
Works best with 2 persons

You will need a 2004r crossmember.

2004r crossmember has a straight slot for trans mount, and a shorter right side hump.
Last pic is a th350 member.

Interesting the 2004R crossmember can be used on a TH350 but not the other way around, thanks for the pic to show the difference. Is the TH200 crossmember the the same as the TH350?

Should work the 350 and the 200 are the same length from bell to mount.
I would think the 2004r member would be a bit short being that it would going diagonally and move the mounting point over a bit. Unless you used the rear holes and extended the mounting point
