i'm looking for a set of headers as an opposition to the w/z manifold i'm thinking of installing on a 87 cutlass with 455. has anyone tried flow-tech headers on their build. the price 191.00 looks good.... don't want to spend the big bucks.

I have bought a few sets of cheap headers over the years for olds powered G-bodys with small blocks. I don't think what you are looking fit a BB in a G-body bought could be a new part? Fleabay has some cheap chinese ones that will work.

I wouldn't put Flowtech on anything. I had a set of their A body headers. Cheap, thin flanges and rusted badly within a year even with ceramic coating. You could try the Hedman SBO headers, they are better made. The cheap Chinese full length are very well made but made for BBO A body cars, no way they will fit a G body. Thornton also makes these. In my book you will gain some power. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...0001&campid=5335822911&icep_item=382637724522
