So I am in the process of trying to order new extended wheel studs. The stockers are too short for the aluminum wheels. I searched here and found a couple threads saying to use ARP 100-7708 which have a knurl size of .509. I have also been reading threads about doing corvette front brakes and others and everyone complains that when using a .509 knurl you risk cracking the hub..
So, I a little look on rock auto and the DORMAN parts show that the stock replacement is a 12.8mm (0.503937in). There isn't too many option in that size.
What are you guys running and what have you had luck with?
Do I just risk it with ARP and slowly press them in, not using a a nut and impact like most people do?
