my uncle recently to a 8.5" out of a g-body a bolted it rifgt into his 91 camaro. does this really work? i have not seen it in person so i a scepticle.

mounts are different so no. I guess its possible to modify an 8.5 to fit but one wouldnt fit without mods

The mounting points are completely different between the G-body and F-body cars, so it is not possible to bolt one in. You CAN swap the carrier and gears, but that's all.

And that would only pertain to the 7.5 rears. Since beside the 9 bolt that's all the 82 and up f bodies had in them.
