Will 78 regal fenders fit on a 79 Cutlass? For a stock race car don't need to match perfect

We use a Plastic nose piece for race cars I know the Monte Carlo fenders are longer front to rear than cutlass but I thought the regals looked similar in length

The regal fenders will bolt up, malibu and elcamino is about the same length too.
