After fighting with motor mounts, time, a bad lift ram, I got my motor & transmission in the frame. Figured out how to work with the Energy Susupension mounts (there is a reason they include instructions), got the transmission on in one shot, just need to put on the dust sheild & starter & adjust the crossmember to get the transmission mount bolt it.
The thing I did learn for the ES mounts is to leave them loose on the frame until the block side can be bolts on, then tighten up the frame side. This is easier with nothing on the front so if & when I gotta put the motor it will suck.

The manifolds are plugged & able to get the tubes if needed, visual inspection needs the pump only. I have that all on so I could mock up what I needed to make the '86 pump set up work on a non CCC set up.

I am sure if they got strict on the visual you could still make what looks like a functioning set up with air tubes but still keep everything blocked off.

The weird thing about the non-emission testing counties is the car has to have the pump, EGR, PCV, cats, & evap canister installed. Nothing on function. I remember when ordering the inspection log books at the old job it has a check box for each item.
I'll be setting things up for just in case things need to "look" funtional.
