Thanks for sharing the pics and a little back story about the car and yourself. I'm sure the car will turn out well.
All of sudden more Malibus are coming out of the woodwork. I'm not complaining, it's nice to see these cars being resurrected and put back on the road.

Welcome Scoot; I missed where you're from? We (GBF), OK me always likes to see another Malibu. Bias I think? Lots of brains to pick here. My good buddy & I just built a 331, a .030" over 327 & we put in a 1950 Chevy. With that short 3" stroke it grabs R's real sweet. And the little loss of torque over a 350-355" is not a bad thing when the car only weights around 3100 Lbs. Keep postin' pictures, we like them, Ole' Bob.

I love the '50 Chevy coupe...that's a cool ride. I also like the Fleetline body style, which is the fastback version.
