This was a friend of mines car basically kept in his dads garage over the last 18 years with not alot done to it other then annual maintenance. I have always done mods to my cars but always wanted to restore an older one. The time and price was right so I picked this 86 El Camino.. I was a mechanic in the Army in 86 working on CUCV's (Chevy Blazers) and M880's (Dodge Pickups) + vehicles up to 5 ton so I feel this cars workable for me. Have pros when needed but will probably be checking this page out quite abit.. Thanks.

Welcome aboard! I have days I miss working on CUCV's and HMMWV's. Then I remember all the other crap too. LOL

Unless I'm missing something, that looks to be an exceptionally clean and we'll cared for car. If it were mine, I would update the drive train and leave the body and interior alone.
