Pulled my cutlass out for the first time in a couple months (been on a ship for work) and despite starting up and idling fine, it doesn’t hardly accelerate and only intermittently gets above 1500 rpm before stalling or dying completely.
It had about a half tank of gas in it, I put a few gallons of premium in as well as some fuel system cleaner…. It ran a lot better for about five minutes then started doing the same thing it was before. Any suggestions on what to try next? Watched a YouTube video of some guy completely drenching his carb in starter fluid and letting it sit for a few hours… might try that
Its a built 403 in an 83 hurst, kind of shifting like sh*t too.
