Hey gang. I'm running a FiTech Ultimate LS swap with transmission control on my LSx and 4L60e. Has anyone out here dealt with the issue of the transmission not shifting out of first gear. Also the handheld controller is showing a speed of 0 mph. I' have read a few things on the internet and tried them out, but still no change. I've heard FiTech support is pretty slow, so I've come here first.

Thanks

What have you tried? It sounds like a speed sensor or wiring issue.

I tried resting the tune in the computer and starting from scratch again. Made sure all the wires were plugged in. Trans has fluid...after that I'm stumped. Other things i have read where people have similar issues they make some tweaks with the programmed and then its good. No such luck yet.

Im not sure how you would test the speed sensor, possibly try a know good used one. Take the connector apart and see if it has any bent pins or loose connection.

Not sure if this helps or not, from FiTech's website.
If using transmission control connect the two sides of the trans connector to the sub-harness and connect this to the connector on the transmission. Once connected to the transmission you are ready. If not using transmission control leave the connectors untouched.

I ended up getting it to work. Started from scratch and unplugged and plugged it all in again. Now to help the column find all the gears!
