Will the front floor boards from an 88 Monte work in a 79 Malibu wagon? I suppose maybe the length may need to be modified but are they close enough otherwise?

Thanks

These are what’s available. It’s an 88 Monte. The pans are solid. I can out what I need for $25 per side. I’m pretty sure I can make patch panels fit the 79 with these.

I’d just spend on new. I got them from Dixie restorations a few weeks back. I was going to cheap out and make patches, but I gave in and spent the cash.

Like Mello said it will work, the hard part may be the tunnel for the trans however, so if you are doing small repairs that would be best.
