Where should I put the hole for the cable?

I'm pretty sure there may be an indentation which indicates where to drill the shift cable hole.
Here's a few measurements for the tunnel brackets. http://www.dixierestorationdepot.com/Tech/Default.aspx?Id=175
However, it doesn't indicate the measurement for the shift cable.
I had all of this written down. I misplaced it somewhere.

This would actually be good to know. I never drilled the hole for my shifter cable before I put the hushmat down.
