Floor shifter

what would y'all recommend for a floor shifter in my 79 Malibu I'm thinking about b&m ratchet shifter I've put buckets seats in it and I'm planing on putting a console

I have a b&m quick silver shifter in my 1980 Malibu and I absolutely love it. Plus you have to pull up on the shifter to get it out of park so it makes someone unfamiliar with the shifter hard to steal. No complaints about it and I slap it hard

Yea I've looked at them they are nice

I have always ran B & M shifters and never had any issues, pick a style that you feel looks right in your car with the features that work for your application.

That's for a 4 speed manual trans.

When I ran automatics I started with a B&M Star Shifter,

Then I went with the Hurst Quarter Stick.

When I put a 700r4 in my car B&M actually made a Monte SS console Pro Stick.

After that I went to manual transmissions in the Malibus

I absolutely hate them from what I remember.

Find someone with one or ask a speed shop to see one.

My buddy has a 79 camaro he has one and loves it I've never used one my self do U remember what u didn't like about it
