I'm in the process of replacing the water pump on my SBO and had a question regarding the Flowkooler 1775.

I was wondering if the 1775 really flowed that much better than the typical rebuilt stocker. There's like a $50 price differenece -- at a minimum the 1775 is lighter than the stocker. Thx!

Yes, I does. It has a plated riveted to the impeller that adds like 6(?) extra vanes. And the plate poses to help with cavitation. The plate doesn't allow for the coolant slip by.
