Ooof...

No rust but that open passenger front window doesnt bode well for the interior and for sure needs paint.

I can see a couple parts I'd wanna nab, that's for sure.

Grill, and the screw plugs for the roof rack. lol

But man... $1,500 for the car? That's way too much for sight unseen. I'd only consider it if it had like... no rust. Gotta take transportation costs into consideration, because you know that car doesn't move on it's own.

Definitely has a patina, but looks like it could be resurrected...
I agree that with enough time and money that definitely could be resurrected. The resurrection will take a fair amount of effort though. Also, I'm willing to bet that replacing any exterior trim or interior parts will take lots of scouring the interwebs over years of time..

foxtrot, I can speak from experience that finding some of the trim pieces is the proverbial "needle in a haystack." I just happened to get lucky (through GBF, I might add) and find out about a car being sold/parted out, and was able to swoop in and get a few "unicorn" pieces. If it's not a coupe of some sort, good luck finding trim and exterior parts.

It is a little crusty looking, no doubt. but I like the fact that it has the original patina and what you see is what you get. No hidden surprises.
I'm sure the interior is well baked. The potential is there, however. You're pretty much buying the body shell. Also, no title. That's usually a turnoff.

Yep, lacquer paint and the south/southwest sun do not a good pair make.

Screwplugs for the roofrack? Wellnuts are usually available at any body shop hardware supplier.
