Ran across this on OKC craigslist. I would assume it will sell quickly. I would guess if it were an 84, I would be on the way to get it, but I don't really need another car anyway.

That picture doesn't match what a 83 T Type should look like. It has a turbo hood but I would bet if the vin was run it would be a limited.

Doesn't even say if it runs.

Clue me in, because aside from the wheels, the 83s all look pretty much alike from what I saw on a quick googling

Seriously, I'm not a regal guy, so educate me.

I thought the T-Type was an add on appearance package back then and it doesn't mention it in the listing.

Only difference I could see was the wheels and fender ornaments....both easily changed/lost after 30+ years.

No dog in the hunt, just thought some of the Buick guys might be interested. I know 83s (or any hot air cars) are no big deal to the GN guys, but you don't see turbo cars cheap often.

Black wheel arch trim, black windshield and rear window trim, no header panel emblem, some had 2 tone paint job. That is just looking at the one picture. BTW I do have a 83 T Type but doesn't have the original drivetrain.
Most people even in buick circles don't even know the GN started in 82, was dropped in 83 and picked up again in 84. T types were the top trim for regals in 83.

Mostly is, they did have a hot air turbos and an instrument cluster with a boost gauge.

Lots of pics of 83 T types without blackout, blackout might be the decor package on the T?

I found this which is from the GM brochure for 83 T types http://www.lov2xlr8.no/brochures/buick/83tt/bilder/5.jpg

I'm thinking perhaps the blackout window moldings went with the 2 tone upper dark color?

These look to be T types? http://www.turbobuicks.com/forums/a.../4956d1107360659-83-regal-t-type-dsc00002.jpg

I guess in the grand scheme it really doesn't matter...I just found it interesting. i shall refrain from posting further questionable ads.

I still think it could be a turbo Regal but without the T-Type package. I looked at a T-Type Regal once and it had a 307 Olds in it.
