Working on the rear drums on my boys 04 ranger.

Shouldn't there be some kind of a lever attached to the shoe and holds the star adjuster in place from spinning. Most rear drums I've ever done had one that I remember. Both sides look like this, but these have been replaced by the previous owner so they could be wrong. Or is this a Ford thing I've never encountered before.

you're missing a cable/w a spring,a guide and an arm that resides on that stud.

It's my 17 year old. I'd like him to be safe.

Anyone got pic handy of how that crap attaches. May save me a little time pissing with it to figure it out.

the arm and the red spring via that stud, the spring rests on the backside of that pad.the cable floats to the top to attach, rides along the sheet metal guide in the middle of it's voyage somehow.it's been a while.

Three different AutoZones, three different prices. $37 for high price, $23 for low price. Beats rockauto and I don't have to wait.

Maybe I'll just order a new 9"!

Just kidding.
