Will do.
I guess i was more up in the air over it because i just bought a 87GN tha has a 8.5 in it and im parting it out and could have used that rear.

Re: Ford 9" ?? Deal or not a deal

I got the same problem as some of you. Looking for a Stronger rear end to replace the 7.5 Stock . Been hearing ALOT about the 8.5,at the local track. Ive also been told I got too much HP for them,,I need to go with the 9".Read the forum "Junkyard 9" ,still not sure 59" form flange to flange. What would that be from drum to drum? If I"m going to go scout the boneyards most of these cars wont be tore down to the flanges.Easier to measure drum to drum. And yes ,When ya get it,Can you post pics? Thanks for the inspiration

Re: Ford 9" ?? Deal or not a deal

I wouldn't bother with a junk yard rear. the axle and rear packages, moser, quick performance are putting together are so cost effective you really cant go wrong.
