It sounds exactly like a loose bar in the drum brake or a sway bar end link washer. Do you have any idea how long that has had me baffled? 🤬

Almost all, if not all, stock 9" Fords had them. Of my 3 billet aftermarket yokes, zero have them.

While I was wrestling the driveshaft in (which way longer than it should have) I bumped it, and heard a chinga-ling-ling. Eureka!
