Is $250.00 a good price to pay for a G body set up Ford 9 inch with axles,set up for disc brakes? Just need to get a center section and the brakes themselves.

Have a different??? Is the first generation S-10 the same as a G body as far as the rear end (2 wheel drive)? I also found that listed for sale. I'm going Sat.to get the one. Just checking with THE expert's before I put out my HARD warned $$$$

No - leafs vs coil spring. Different size axels. Might make the brakes work depending on ends.

Doug, I would take a straight edge to make sure the axle tubes are not bent and if they check out I buy it right away, if it doesn't work out you can make a few $$ on the resale.

Honestly, if they are legit units already setup for our cars and not bent up that price is hard to beat!!!! Where are these units located(city/state)? I like my 8.5", but it needs new axles/posi/gears before the boosted LS comes alive!
