im looking at the Quick Performance complete 9 inch rear . They say if your engine makes 450 to 600 HP , you should order theyre Yukon option . What is it , and how important is it ? My engine is supposed to be making 500+ HP , I dont like the idea of spending an extra $350.00 unless its really needed ,

I've run a standard case and gears in my Regal for the last 10 years at 525 HP w/ no problems (all drag) . I would think there is a lot more than just the case involved - bearing size, yoke, type of gears, spines, daytona pinion so you need to decide what you really want and what your doing with it. I bought a bolt through for my Sonoma cause I knew I'd be pushing more HP later.

I’m going with the 31 spline, trac lock, 350 ratio. Not going to the track, just nailing it hard from time to time

They offer the 2000 era F body housing ends for $75.00. As far as RWHP, I don’t know, it will be coming out of a pro built TH 350. Isn’t the norm a 10-15 percent power loss to the rear wheels?
